cr250 main jet
Hello. I took the carb apart to clean it for the first time since bike started bogging at high rpm's. I noticed that i need a new float valve and that my main jet is labeled #633, slow jet is stock.
I was looking over my service manual and it seemed odd that i could not find #633 in there. Its a 02 cr250 stock carb, wiseco piston @67.5,boyesen reeds, fmf expansion and silencer. What MJ should i be running with these accessories?
thanks for any advice,
In looking at FMF's jetting guide are you sure you MJ is a 633?
Main Jet 380
Pilot Jet 32.5
Needle Position 3RD
Air Screw 1.5
This is what FMF recommends 0 - 1500 FT and with FMF pipe and silencer.
So that would be fairly close if you were looking for a starting point.
Thanks for the response Scott. I should have taught about checking fmf's site before
Yeah i'm sure it's 633, that's the numbers that i saw on the MJ. I'm just going to purchase a new float and stock MJ, see how that goes then.
