No, a cr 125 is way to big. Im 5'5-5'6" and its still too tall for me. You will have major problems. Dont be afraid to get a mini just because it has the word "mini" attatched to it. A bike thats too big for you will not only be no fun, but dangerous. You wont have fun, and might want to quit. Do not be fooled by the number "85," because they haul ***. My friend's aftermarket parts yz85 is faster then his stock cr 125. I think an 85 would be perfect for you, and even a kx 100 would be a bit big. IMO a 125 would be out of the question. Trust me, a small bike is sometimes more fun to ride. You have better control of them, and can whip them around. Maybe your friends have 125's, but you would be better off, and probably faster on an 85 or 100. Just my $0.02, but i would seriously reconsider getting a 125.

The 125 is way to big for you, your feet should be touching the ground comfortably. Go for an 85 you will love the bike, wait till you grow out if it then get a 125. Theres no point in buying a bike thats to big, you won't be able to ride it.

If you go four stroke now, you can save some $$$. They hold their value very well, and shouldnt have a problem selling it for a few hundred less then you got it. When your done with that, get your 125. Go with a ttr125 for now, or crf150. Id still say you would do fine on an 85. In certain conditions, even ill admit theyre more fun to ride then my 125. Fortunatly, i have a little sister, and can ride hers all the time

Hey you don't want a CR125 when your only 10 and 5feet tall there's no way you could handle that much power, and it's way to big for you. The only thing you would accomplish on a CR125 are hospital visits!!! I would know I'm 16 and almost 6ft. Tall and I have trouble handling my CR125! So go with an 85 for now and get use to riding that first and then when you are about 15 or 16 get a 125. You will have a lot more fun on a 85 than a 125! If you want a 125 just because your friends have 125's or you want to have a bigger bike then your friends. Well if that's the case then if you have a 85 you will be able to smoke them because a 85 can come close to a 125 if your a good rider and you will handle it so much better you would still beat them on your 85. So go for the 85 for now and then in a couple years sell it and get a 125.

Hey I'm 13 and have a CR125 but I'm also 5 11. I can't imagine if i got it when i was 5 foot i wouldn't do it. I ride my friends YZ 85 and it is fast! I would have been happy getting this before my 125 but i didn't think it was powerful enough. Wow was i wrong. Go with the 85.

A bigwheel is too big for you. I got my cr 80 expert when I was about 5'4 and it was still to big for me. Unless your inseem goes up to your chest or something, a 125 is WAY to big. I am about 5'7 with a shaved seat and cant stand flatfooted. Inseems are differant, but that should give you a baseline.

sup everyone? im 6ft, i have a cr125 that sits so tall i almost cant stand flat footed. and thats almost stretching. i agree a 125 is too big for you height. i know youll get teller but you have to think of the power to weight ratio. DUDE! YOU'LL KILL YOURSELF.im 30 and 6ft, i have ab 89' KX80 bigwheel. you would not belive how much fun it is. im alittle tall for it but man it is fun. i have a cr250 and i'll tell you what, if my 80 ran right now my 250 would be parked in the shed. but hey, its your choice so...do what you think will work out.

I think big kid syndrome is right. If you dropped a 125, theres is no WAY you could pick it up, let alone get back on it. I think this is another case of "my friends have a 125, so i want one too." I have a 10 yr old cousin, and were looking at getting him an xr 80. Hes 4'6. You need a ttr 125, or an 80 stroker. I think an 85 might even be a little uncomfortable for you. Theyre pretty tall even

I am 5'8 and i can only get my tip-toes on the ground with my 250F. However, this dosent bother me a bit on the motocross track. The ground is much closer when the fork tubes are dragging on the wall of a rut.

well, tehcniaclly you can get a 125 and get the suspension redone and revavled for your heigth, riding abiity, and such. then it wouldnt be too big for you but i find it hard to believe that you are riding around a track in the top of 4th on that 85. you must be riding a very unchallenging track. i only hit 4th on long wide open areas and even then sometimes i dont.
