cr 85 oil leaking from exhuast

On my son's 04 cr 85, oil is blowing out from where the exhuast bolts up to the head. The three bolts are tight, but there's a questionable gap where the exhuast pipe slides up to the mounting area. The bike has about 19 hrs, but has pretty much done this since day one. Please advise.

pending on how large the gap is......

Try puting High Temp. silicon gasket maker around the flang (the part that slips over the manafold). make sure you clean it thouroghly (did i speel this right? hehehe) before applying the silicon. also make sure you use high temp silicon or else your screwed. By the way dont worry too much about this since its very very common. hope this helps

Mine leaks alot too. I did the silicone thing and it helps alot. make sure you put alot on though. I also use this stuff called chamber seal. you can get it from bob's sycle supply.

I don't know about the CR80, but mine has 2 rubber rings inside the exhaust expansion chamber. They could be worn and therefore loose causing movement and gap..
