i have an 03 cr 125. when i get into the high rpm's in 4th and 5th gear radiator fluid poors out the overflow. i have no power loss, checked for leaks, checked the water pump. i bought a new radiator cap at auto zone with the same psi, and the same result happens. what else can i look for?

When you notice the coolant dripping out...do you notice the engine "Pinging" any?

Each time you have noticed this have you recently...before the ride added coolant? If so..if you fill it to the top, most bikes will spit some out until it gets down to a certain level...that is normal as the coolant expands when hot..if the level is right at the top..it will blow quite a bit out when it gets hot.

how much do you consider quite a bit? i think i am having to add way too much! i could understand some leaking out if i filled it up too much, but even when it is not at the top it will still poor out. i make sure and check the level before i ride every time

i would suggest replacing the head gasket. it sounds like you are pressurizing the coolant with the pressure in the cylinder.next time you open the cap, check to see if there are very small specks of carbon or oil floating to the top...or,try re tourqueing the cyl.head bolts.sometimes they work loose.esp. on the honda "tuning fork" frames.i also have an aluminum framed cr and have to check bolts quite often.

sometimes people overlook the obvious, check to see if impeller is gummed up, this causes same problem. coolant, if not circulating, will get hot and blow out.
