Primary to GND = 0.1 to 0.3 ohms

Primary to Plug Cap = 9 to 16 ohms

As a follow up to anyone who may be interested....

I removed my coil after having a bout of plug fouling...spark looked good but after close inspection of the coil, the laminated core that sticks out had a fair amount of surface rust. No big deal I thought...it may not look pretty, but its whats on the inside that counts. But apparently there is no seal to keep the water out from the inside and lo and behold, I have a bad coil! My guess is that the laminated core will wick the water down into the center of the coil where it sits and corrodes. I beleive I might seal up the new coil before installing it

Faded, was that 9-16 ohms, or 9k-16k ohms?

that tool handle rubber dip (can remember what it is really called, but it comes in lots of colors) works well to keep electrical components dry. It is pretty cheap too. I haven't used it on a coil, but it is happy up to 140 degrees or so that you find under the hood etc of my tanker.
