changing bearings on rear wheel
i have a cr 250 2001- honda . when changing bearing on drive side how best to remove the two bearings . is it one at a time.? also what is best way to install the 2 beaings on drive side?am i wrong is there 2 bearings one on each side?from the look on the microfish the 3 parts numbers for the bearings
is it every ting to make put one bearings thanks
Ok, first remove the seals, then the retainer screw in ring on the break side. Then drive out that bearing. Then take the center spacer out. Then drive out the two bearings on the drive side.
When putting in the new bearings...Press in the drive bearings one at a time.
Then use the axle and drop in the center spacer in from the break side and then press in the bearing while the axle is in place. Then put the retainer ring in and then the seals.
Doing it this way will insure the center spacer is correctly positioned and will help in not damaging the bearings.
hi on cr 250 honda- 2001, do u drive out the 2 bearings on the drive side on rear wheel?
to me that s the only way to do that. any opinions
