Best Pipe for CR 500R?

I was wondering what the best after-market pipe is for a 2k CR 500R? Do they come ceramic coated (like Jet-Hot)?

What about this Pro Circuit Platinum Pipe I see in this month issue of Motocross Action? Is it prone to cracking or rust too?

i ran a pro circuit platinum pipe recently on my 1984 cr500...it ran excellent-never a problem

If you are looking to replace the stock one, I have the front runner of the "gnarly" on my old 87 cr500. Yep, it breaks like the stocker does.

If you actually want to change the power characteristics, I would call Dynoport and tell him what you want. Just be sure you WANT what you tell him. I have yet to use one of his on a 500, but own one of his pipes for another CR and I am closely familiar with two more. He builds what he says.

Does he have a website or phone #? I'd like to check out his stuff because my pipe has a nice fat dent; I bought it used this way.
