Default 98 CR250 LEAKING FUEL

Hi all im a newbie to this forum which is great.
i own a 98 cr250 which is leaking fuel from the overflow hose as soon as i turn the fuel tap on.
all was fine until i fitted a new fuel tap, which i dont think was the cause as i tried the old one and it was still leaking.
any help would be great.

I have fitted 07 plastics on it. Yes it can be done.
I will post some pics up in the photo gallery tell me what you think.
cheers

First off, Welcome to ...sounds like your floats are stuck... Sounds like when you changed the fuel tap you may have knocked some dirt loose into the fuel line... time for a carb cleaning

Ditto with AJ. Also make sure when you clean it, to set the float level for proper height.

Sometimes tapping on the side of the float bowl will dislodge any foreign stuff in the needle seat, but you are better off taking it apart and cleaning it.
