Default 97 cr 250 water pump

     

is it best to install water pump shaft in the clutch cover case before installing the clutch cover case on engine ?
and also will the kick starter sping stay in place while im installing the clutch cover case ?

Ok, the shaft and seals as well and the bearing plus the impeller all should be installed the large clutch over before you install the cover. As far as I know there is no other way to do it. Then you just have to rotate the impeller to aline it for the cover to go on.
Yes the clutch spring should stay in place.

You really need a service manual for your bike!
