it's not a 88, it's a 85 according to the seat, plastics, swingarm and the rear drum break

Really so the frame tag lies......The seat is off a 86 along with the entire swing arm assembly i had to fab the drum brake stay on the frame.....as I said i built it from scratch and not sure on the plastics but according to my manual the plastics in 85 where different .......ill try and get a more recent pic up for u

After looking at your 86 flash my plastics r identical to yours Except black this was a Hodge podge build as I was 21 and broke so we used what was free in the pile....the engine and tires where all I accualy paid for

My 86 Cr as 85 cismetic (seat, decals) but it's still a 86 you can say that by the engine, gold wheels. Comesticaly, the 85 and 86 has the exact same plastic and seat shape. The difference is on the decals and the letters "CR" on the seat.

Thank u for the clarification

When I built it years back the swinger on the 88 frame was broke right at the swinger bolt....the 86 frame was tweaked real bad and the 88 engine had the dreaded water pump corrosion we combined the two bikes best we could rode it for years till I sold it.....can now get it back for $200 like u c it
