Default 85 A or B Piston?

Okay gang, How am I supposed to find out weather my 2005 CR85 has an 'A' piston. Or a 'B' piston?
Yes, my dad's a parts manager at one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in the North West. But lets just say he's mechanically 'challenged'. He did say that on the cylinder it does [or supposed to] say 'A' or 'B' for the piston.
Any help?

I know mine is stamped on the outside of the cylinder, and I just assumed that all of them were that way, but we are talking about a Honda, right? Have you looked at the cylinder?

The Service Manual will tell you where to find the stamp. On an '03 CR250, the stamp is on the rear of the cylinder, just above the base gasket on the shifter side of the engine.

My 01 CR250 has the stamp in the same place. Clean the engine really well and look all over. I bet the stamping is there somewhere

Just go with the B piston if you are going stock. It is only .0005" difference. Tdub

Yeah, Honda doesn't even offer the A piston for the '03 CR250 anymore. All orders default to a B piston.
