Default 2003 CR 250 load up.

I ride a 03 CR 250 that is stock besides a pro ciruit platinum 2 pipe and fmf turbine core silencer.(I ride mostly at sea level) I am having problems when ever I come down a hill and get to the bottom my bike loads up hesitates when I give it gas. I have to pull in the clutch and rev it to clear it out almost every time. I am also fouling plugs frequently. I have gone down on the main jet to a 390 with no luck. Any sugestions?

Are you still running the Mikuni? I have an 02 and run at sea level and have changed to the 38mm PWK Keihin. It was much easier to dial in and have never had a problem since.
There are some smart people in these forums so I'd suggest you mention what size jets and needle you have and what position the clip is. Also mention what fuel and oil you are using and that ratio. And if possible do a plug chop and post some pics up. There smarties will have you cracking in no time

if the bike wont idle you should go smaller size on the pilot jet.
if its stock try to go for 27.5 pilot jet.
if the bike is running rich all the way i would rejet it properly because if it will run to lean its risk the engine.

Is it worth the money to switch from my mikuni carb to the keihin? Because I am either going to buy a Jd jet kit and a 4.25 slide or a Keihin pwk carb and i dont know what to do yet. Has anyone had good results with the Keihin on their 03 CR250?
