Hey guys... She is almost there , But I have one problem.... OK first some history ... i baught the bike with an SST pipe and the following jetting...400 main,2nd needle clip from top, air screw 1 3/4 , 25 slow jet. V force reeds... A total motocrosser.... I ... piped her down to a Gnarly... 12 .0s fywheel... Kept the Vforce reeds.. Changed the main jet to a 420 main and a 35 slow( Back to STOCK for the jetting)... I also moved the needle clip position back to the stock 3rd position...... She runs great ... starts on 1st or second kick.. great power and smoothe transition from idle to just above midrange.... ( mostly this is where I ride... But I do Like to hang on for dear life sometimes and open her up ... This is where the problem is... she is running rough.. Cant tell if lean or rich.... Sould I move the needle clip back to the 2nd position from the top?? Fairly new to the pingers..( Love -em) Should this motor just sing when opened up.?????? Thanks in advance guys......

Also from the FMF jetting guide: "Sometimes stock jetting works fine, other times a slight adjustment is needed. Here is what we've come up for in our area and is a great starting point for you as well. There are way too many variables in jetting to give you a recommendation that works perfect. ."

you finally joined the brotherhood of the smoker.....nice to have you aboard. I also have had jetting issues, and from what I have found every bike is a little different.....yes I know that was not a newsworthy statement. My buddy and I have the same bike, reeds, pipe etc....... his jetting setup made my bike run dangerously lean..... no idea why. Just keep tinkering with it....
