![]() I am new to CR250 engines but learning. I have read a bunch of posts on here and was able to get through my build. Thank you all for sharing!!! I have a couple of questions about the ignition setup from my 2000 cr250. 1. What air gap should be set between the pulse generator and the flywheel? 2. After setting the woodruff key in place and sliding on my flywheel, the key gets pushed back at an angle. After I torque down the nut, if I take the nut off and washer to look at the key, it is not flush with the end... However, the magnet pad on the flywheel is centered when rotating and watching it go past the pulse gen. It looks OK just not sure if I need to make sure the key is flush or not....? Thanks! |

![]() That has a half moon key and thus will not be flush with the flywheel. Paw Paw |
