Thumbs down 1997 CR125R Exhaust Issue

Hey everyone, so I have a 1997 CR125R that has just recently before buying it had a full top to bottom rebuild, it runs great and looks pretty good aswell.

But my problem is that the bike shoots a black oil out of the back silencer, not a lot but enough to dirty up my fender and side panel and a little bit of the swingarm and rear caliper. It also only seems to spit the oil when I'm in high rpms, it doesn't smoke alot and my oil comes out the same amount I put in so I dont believe its crank seals. My jetting is very close to stock (see below).

172 Main
55 Pilot
3rd Clip Position

The bike doesn't ever bog and when I open up the throttle it rips super nicely, just the oil is super annoying and the only thing I could think of is my jetting.

Thanks guys.

You could try changing your fuel/oil mix ratio, but if the bike runs good otherwise and the plug color looks okay I'd be hesitant to mess with it.

Yeah it doesn't foul plugs, the plug color is a dark ish brown and I mix 32:1 with lucas oil and 91. But I'm thinking of maybe switching to a 170 main I think that could fix it what do you think?

I am the furthest thing away from a jetting expert you could ever find... hopefully one of our members more knowledgeable in that area will chime in.

It won't hurt to drop to a 170 since it is such a small change, but I doubt it will help much. Like Cowboyona said you might want to change your fuel/oil mix ratio or try another brand of oil.

A little bit of spooge is normal. If the silencer has not been repacked, I would assume it soaked up some spooge and the high rpm is forcing it out of the fiberglass wool. If it's running well, I would take care of that (and cleaning out the whole exhaust system while it's apart for service) first.
