| If you want to work on your bike, the first thing you need is a good service manual. I recommend a Clymers or better yet, the Honda shop manual. You will need a new water pump seal, a set of water pump gaskets, a gear jammer device suitable for platic gears and a torque wrench along with the usual metric tools. I covered water pump seal installation in a series of post dealing with a CR250 engine. Your 125 water pump is nearly identical so that information and pictures should be helpful. Search back for posts entitled "Honda CR250 Engine build". Once you have the parts, tools and information, the actual job is fairly straight forward and easy. Keep us posted. dogger |
