Exclamation 1995 cr125 story

Hey guys i havent been on the forum in a while to post anything because i have not been doing any riding lately due multiple problems that have come with my bike that i have here, So let me tell you whats going on. So during the summer i was riding a 2002 cr80 great all around bike but i felt as if maybe i was ready for a new bike considering im too tall for one, and had pretty much mastered it in everyway, so i needed a new challenge. So i traded it with a kid who had 1995 cr125 that supposely jus needed to be put together so, i traded, and me and couple friends cleaned it up and put it together within abiut 2 days(had to get the cylinder back from the shop, he paid for it so couldnt complain) so i kicked it for the first time terrible compression it did not feel like it had a brand new top and but we figured hey mayb its because i has one piston ring, but so did my cr80 but i didnt complain but after about 25 hard stern kicks, she fired up and ran pretty good idled and all, so i didnt complain till i shut it off 10mins later and it wouldnt start unless i still kicked it with all my might, so i tried to take a spin on it to see if everything was working as it should, bike would barely move, clutch shot(so much for just putting it together) so i put a new clucth and exhaust seal in it and she rode really good she even started better, i took it for a quick ride up and down the street to see wat it could do but not pushing it too much because of the new top end and it rode great. So the next day i brought it back out, too take it for about and hour ride to make sure once again everything was working as it should, and it starts to spudder a half hour later so i take the plug out and everything seemed good, so i let it cool down for about 30mins and started it back up and it ran fine again, for about another 15mins then the sputter came back so i took it easy jus trying to make it back home. So i made it home and it blew within seconds of touchin the driveway. So i took the top end off and it had marks on top the piston as if it was hitting the plug, so i tore it down again but thinking mayb my air filter box wasnt clean enough and mayb i have some small rocks or something in the bottom end, so played with the rod to check for play and it had one spot in the rotation with a tiny bit of play so i figured it was fine, so i vacumed out my bottom end(lazy tricks will cost you lesson learned here)and cleaned my air filter and box, and threw a oem piston kit in it and it had alot more compression and started up pretty good so i took it for a spin and it seemed to sputter from the start, but i figured maybe it still needs some time to break in, so i parked it and tried it again the next day it was better but still not great, and it blew again, so right now im thinking maybe that tiny bit of play in my rod is my bottom end on its way out so i ordered a new wiseco bottom end kit, do you guys think mayb this will solve my problem, im running the propper plug,32:1 mixture as far as jetting it stock, because i have no performance parts.

sorry for such a long story but i figured the only way to have this problem solved is if you guys know everything, any help would be greatly appreciated, i just wanna ride my bike after 40 hours at work i need some fun.

thanks for reading

if it appears like the piston is touching the spark plug you should check to see if its the right plug, its prob a BR that its supposed to have and maybe its a BPR in it.
