| First you need to know what kind of replacement jet you have...I dont know if you have any knowledge about jetting but there are three different types of jets; Pilot jet which looks like a flat head screw then you have your main jet which also looks like a flat head screw but is slightly bigger in diameter than the pilot jet... the main jet is screwed into another jet called the needle jet this is about the same length as the pilot jet but the head on it is an 8 or 6mm hex for a socket.... most likely you have the main jet.... all you do is remove your carb then take out the two or three screws that connect the bowl to the carb, make sure you empty all the fuel from the carb so you dont spill it everywhere. once the bowl is removed you'll see the main jet and the pilot jet... the main jet will be the one directly in the middle... now all you do is unscrew it from the carb... Chances are when u unscrew it the needle jet will still be attached, so just get a wrench that fits, then unscrew the main jet from the needle jet (THE MAIN JET IS SMALL PROBABLY THE SIZE OF A PINKY NAIL).... then swap the old with the new...put everything back together and your set..just dont screw them in too tight just get them in snug so they dont vibrate loose.. and if u want a diagram go on bikebandit.com select your bike make model, year and then find the carb diagram..... hope this helps |

| There's a jetting guide on this site, think it was called Spanky's jetting guide. Try the search and if I find it, i'll send it to you. This was a year and a half ago or so. |
