| i dont get it $2000 later same thing im ready to burn it,when putting a load on it it knocks,sounds like the bottom is coming apart,at idle it surges ,stock with v-force reeds and metzger pipe--now new cylinder,top end,countless carb adjust my elevation is sea level near panama city beach,fl ive moved the clip think its back to # 2,played with oil/gas mix from 32/1 to 40/1 nothing really changes,air temp also seems to have no affect |

| what kind of gas are you running??? when was the last time the crank, bottom end, and top end were rebuilt?? |

| premium gas and usally 2 oz of octane boost /klotz as my oil pre-mix never had a bottom end this is my jumpbike it only has 60 hrs on the engine bought it brand new the problem has been going on for 2 years ive bought a crf 450r for my race bike /it has maybe 6 of the 60 hrs on the new cylinder/and piston bearing rings honda said the crank was tight and that was not the problem--[they said alot of things] i do wonder about the v-force cage same 6hrs maybe leaking air or the clutch cable ive been reading about thanks for any help, this part of florida is terrible as far as bike mechanics. p.s. id be willing to do anything on this $8800.00 investment i made for a bike i cant ride ive been told by mechanics they didnt here the knock but i never heard this on my yz kx or other cr i wonder about the hole rc valve can this cause the knock thing |

| i dont think that an air leak would cause this knock or the powervalve. have you tried compression testing the motor??? i know that 60 hours on a top end/ piston is way too long for me. try compression testing the motor and post your results. usually the knocking is a piston skirt hitting the cyl. walls. this can be caused by many things including: out of tolerance rod/ rod bearings Shot piston Shot rings. shot wrist pin / bearing. start there.... what is your compression number? that is a good indicator of the sealing properties of the motor and will indicate piston life and ring life as well. wait are you worried about the 450F or your two stroke?? thats not really clear to me in your last post sorry. |

| i can try a comp test but i only have 6 hrs on a new cylinder piston,ring,top bearing and new read cage and reeds |
