Default 02 graphics on a 01 CR250R

Ok guys I need some help. I have read some threads on here about using the 02 graphics on the 01 and all that was needed to trim was the bottom of the rad shroud graphic. I just spent $200 on a killer graphics kit but just starting out with the number plates....the sizing and trimming was alot more than anyone indicated. So my question....should the number plates but nearly identical between the two years? If so, these were custome graphics made so it would be possible that they made the wrong number plate graphics. I also bought the UFO plastic kit and I noticed that on the front number plate...the plastic tail that loops around your bar pad has no clasp or a way of securing the tail. Could this have been a defect from UFO?

Thanks, Chris

OK guys...for those of you that said there is minor trimming when using the 02 graphics on an 01....Boy have I got a bone to pick with you! After spending $200 on a sweet graphics kit....the shroud graphics are way off! The side plates were just a little off and aparently there will have to be some trimming on the plastic itsself to look right but I think it will look better. As for the shrouds....well I'm not one whom wastes money so i will have to make them work....will post pics once I'm done.

I searched for months looking for a great looking kit for an 01 and there just isn't snything out there. I read on a caouple of threads here that an 02 will work on an 01 but you will have to trim the bottom of the shroud graphics a bit. So ok, trimming isn't such a bad deal in order to get some killer graphics one would think.

I've put the 02 graphics up for sale locally on CL so If I can recover some of the money then i can look toward something else. I'll check out that 139designs website. Thanks for the help!

Chris

I went here started designing my own,.. VERY reasonable prices I might add,.. Haven't ordered anything, but if you create a profile you can save your kit.....

Honda Custom Graphic Kits

I was toying around with creating a San Jose Sharks themed bike,.. but money fell short as I would have to buy white plastics, etc..
