Default '02 CR125 plastic same as '04?

I see listings for plastic like '00-'02 and then '03-'07 but I always thought that CRs from '02-'08 were essentially the same. Does anyone know if the plastic is interchangeable for these years? Is it just the different front number plate and if so, does the newer design mount the same?
Thanks.

just go to Service Honda and go to the OEM part finder and you can compare the different year parts numbers to make sure they work.

Yes, thanks. I'll check it out but sometimes that site shows a slightly different part number even though the part will actually still fit the different year or model.

00-01 plastics wont fit
02-03 are the same
04-07 are the same as 02-03 except the front fender looks different but bolts up. The 04-07 front number plate wont bolt up. It bolts to the top of the triple clamp not the front. You could drill the number plate to make it fit.

Thanks. I have a question you may know about CR125 Trannys. Which years had 5 speed and when did they go back to 6 speed?
Cheers.
