will the boost in displacement from 250 to 265 make a huge difference and how much will it hurt my reliability

Yeah-youd get a big noticable gain.As far as reliability goes,I dont think that it is a big enough difference in order affect it.youd be uping your compression and probably have to run race gas-not sure though.

Yeah for sure man, I am having a 280 kit built for my 02 CR250. Talk about some power!! I dont think it will hurt your reliability at all, you just need to have it done the right way by someone who knows what they are doing. Im going to have Eric gorr do mine.
