Default 01 CR250 Eric Gorr mods?

Hi

I have a 2011 CR250AF with a 2001 CR250 engine. I like the stock power, but comming from a CRF450R I want some more. I would like some more bottom end and a broader powerband. I have a Boyesen Rad Valve, 38 Kehin AS carb and PC works pipe and silencer on it now, other than that it is stock.
I have read alot of good stuff about Eric Gorr and his Mobetta port jobs. But I can't deside if I want the Mobette portjob or the 265 bigbore with the Mobetta porting! How much more of a difference is there with the 265cc with porting vs stock cc (250cc) with Mobetta? The one downside I can think of with the 265 is that I have to buy my piston and gaskets from Eric Gorr every time I need a new top end.

Anyone here that have any experience with the Mobette porting or/and the 265 kit from Eric Gorr?

A ported 2000 jug will be a stronger runner than a 2001 ported. I can't speak to the 265 bit, personally I wouldn't bother. A 250 set up right will romp.
