 yz250 high idle problem I have a 94 yz250, it idles fine until it warms up then sometimes it stays at a very high idle. The only way to bring it down is to pull the brake and let out the clutch while in gear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!  |

| Re: yz250 high idle problem You probably checked the cable already. If the carburetor itself is not holding the slide partially opened the most common reason is an airleak. You can determine if it is a slide problem by listening to hear the slide bottom when you roll the throttle on and off. Half click and half clunk is the way I describe the sound. |
