![]() I have a 1991 yz125 and I am curious if I could use a cylinder off a 1990? I've read that 90-92 parts do interchange but just want to make sure before I spend the dough, any input is greatly appreciated. |

![]() They look the same to me in the parts diagram but they have different part numbers. Hopefully, someone else knows for sure. |

![]() Every year of Yamaha parts have a different part number even if the parts are identical. I am 99% sure the two cylinders in question will interchange. Ossagp would know for sure... Scott |

I didn't know that even identical parts had different part numbers, it would make it much easier if they were the same. |

![]() In that case, I would get it because the parts diagrams look identical with the same powervalve and everything. |
