 wr250 petcock on Yz125 Clarke tank Has anyone ever tried putting a wr250 petcock on a Yz125 Clarke tank? I ride in the desert and I want the reserve feature combined with the extra gas ...so on those 95d plus days I don't run out of fuel .... I also carry a siphon in my Camelpak... Is there any reason why this combo. won't work? Thanks regards, Toby (#812)  |

 follow-up Wow... no replies... Well anyway ... I put the WR250 petcock on my desert tank and it fits and works well.... I think it's the perfect combo... regards, Toby |

| Re: wr250 petcock on Yz125 Clarke tank The only difference between the YZ and the Wr petcocks is the reserve setting on the WR. All the demensions are exactly the same. I would suggest that if the petcock gasket is old that you replace it with a new one. That way the new one can properly mold to the shape of the mounting surface and prevent leaks. |
