Some fluids are a light or medium red. When used I have seen pinkish oil. It might not be anything to worry about.

......and keep it away from them Hondas.

It could be that they used a gear or possibly a tranny oil and they are reddish in lolor which would have it look a bit pink if it was changed and a little remained in the crank case, etc. That would be my guess and if not then its definately the honda theory then, hehe!

There is a good chance the bike sucked water into the transmission vent hose. My girlfriend's KX100 stalled in a stream crossing and did this. When I changed her oil it looked like a strawberry milkshake. Water in oil will usually look white but I was running Honda tranny oil which is red, so white (water) added to red will turn pink.

I put fresh oil in and had her ride for about 5 minutes, drained it again, and then changed it again after a 2 hour ride.

I would change the oil, run it, and look for water (either white or pink depending on the original color of the tranny fluid). If water continues to show up after 2 oil changes you probably have a water pump seal leak.
