Default TTR 125

i was at my local shop today and there was a 2001 ttr 125 motor in the corner that the lower rod bearing i would say is shot but anyway i was like "what is up with the motor bub" well then he is like "needs a rod bub" then he tells me that he can get the rest of the bike for $500 i was like no way so do ya all think it is a good idea all is what is there is the lower end i have no idea what the top end is like?

TT-R 125's Are crappy guttless trail bikes plus it sounds like it was run out of oil, I wouldn't get it unless it was free.

Ye i agree with YZGreg, the ttr's are gutless and you would be better of getting a CRF150.
