Question Top end biuld-up

DO I need to replace my cyl sleaves or can I just bore them out to fit over sized pistons? What mods will give the most punch for the buck?

Yes that would help a ton! Since you mention sleeve, how do you know it's a sleeve?

My bad - It's an 87 Banchee. lost all low end power [still got top end pwr] at Florence. other than the piston and Cyl being out of tollerence could not find anything else wrong with the top end. It was spitting out oil out the exh. maby a seal.

If the cylinders are in spec and are not gouged or scratched, just put a top-end kit in it.

Its a Banshee.

DYK(Did You know)that the Banshee is a 350cc Twin 2-stroke...you mix gas in with your oil(Or i hope so)....it is most likely premix oil that is already mixed in your gas blowing out the exhaust...in other words called "Spooge"...or some people like to say there bike is "Puking" out of the exhaust.

I think meaning your premix mixture is too rich, or your jetting is too rich. My opinion....

Correct jetting (or knowing how to obtain it) is going to be the biggest bang for the buck. I would nominate cylinder porting for the number 2 spot followed by pipes as number 3 IMHO.
