Default Throttles

Well i thrashed my throttle housing durring a recent indo, but will not go into details. bad times Anyhoo, im looking for a replacement throttle for my 05 yz. Anyone have any experience with the Motion Pro throttles? Thats the only company i can think of that offers replacement throttles, if nothing else i will have to go back to a stocker. But you know how yamaha likes to charge an arm and a leg for something so simple. I guess i need to quit crashing for a while ey?

Go buy an aluminum throttle tube from Pro Circuit. I had one on my CR and never had another problem with it. They are $50 but you will never have to replace it again.

just make sure you get an aluminum throttle tube....plastic ones really suck as I am sure you have learned. 50bux and worth every penny.

I would stick with the stock Yamaha housing even if its expensive. I also would definately get an aluminum throttle tube. I bought the Pro Taper unit with the needle bearing inside the bar-end. Its freakin awesome and would recommend this to anyone with $80 burning a hole in there throttle hand!
