Default throttle cable problems!

I have a 2000 yz125 and the throttle cable got stuck open. I bought a new throttle cable and housing.(broke when I crashed) And put them on, but now it feels like it isn't getting enough gas. I takes a long time to rev. Like I have it at 3/4 throttle instead of full throttle. Is there an adjustment that I can make to get it more gas? (if that is even the problem) I think there is one by the housing and where it goes into the slide, but i am not sure.

Take the carb off, twist the throttle and check if the slide is opening all the way.

There are 2 adjustment points on your bike.

The first one being up on top of you handlebars, just near your throttle wheel. There will be 2 nuts covered by a rubber cover directly above master cylinder.

Take cover off and loosen nut so that the other can be adjusted. This is where you can adjust the throttle cable take-up. Try this and see if it helps it.

If not, the second adjustment point is directly above your carby. Just below a rubber cover are 2 nuts. Again, adjust them accordingly and this should fix your problem.

Hope this helps.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
