I have a 99 yz 125 and it's about time for a new front sproket, i figured i would go ahead and get rear sproket and chain set while i was at it so it would all wear at the same time, i was wondering if theres any specific chain i should go with, or if one is even better then others,

Most all of the well known chain companies have good products. The life and service you get is far more dependant on the proper care and maintenance of your chain drive. I personally like EK MRD series chains. Not only do they provide a quality part with good tolerences, they incorporate weight savings as well. (lighter bushing reels) But like I mentioned, the care you give it will make all the difference. Many will buy high-dollar sets and swear they are trash...when the fact is they took less than proper care of it. Oh and BTW...I garantee that if you need a front sprocket, your chain is trashed.

I would go with a DID chain (x-ring) and Hardstyle front and rear sprockets. You can buy them in the ATM online store and they are excellent quality.

Wow.... I would hurry and buy one of those chains fromhere immediately if I were you. I can't see them staying 51 bucks for long. Somebody got a heck of a deal.

The $51 is for the ATV chain. The motorcycle one is $78, which is still a heck of a deal.

I use the cheap R/K chains and clean, lubricate and replace them frequently. You can just about buy three of them for the price of one of the high priced chains and by changing them frequently you practically always have a new chain.

A created a post in the review section for chains and sprockets yesterday. Its too soon to comment on the longevity, But I'm happy so far.You certainly can't beat this price for sprockets and an x-ring

I knew the 51 dollar D.I.D. was too good to be true. Anyone buy it before you got it changed??

Like I said, that was for the ATV chain and I would still honor that price if anyone is interested. That is way under retail though.
