Default Shift Fork help!

Well after much fun on the YZ 250 I have finally damaged it. When I'm going into fourth it cuts in and out of gear (bugger!) This is the second bike that I have stuffed the shift forks! There must be something in my riding that I,m doing rong! Has anyone else had problems with these bloody things and if so do they no why?
Could be the beach drag races and banging it into gear. Just wondering if I should use less clutch. Always try to slip it when changing but maybe that loads the gearbox up with too much power. Any Ideas?:
Also this is an awesome bike! What a great free reving, powerful motor!
With the pro circuit pipe its the bomb! Instantly on the pipe!

Those beach races sound awesome!

It is disappointing to see the shift fork blowing out twice. I would check that your clutch is adjusted properly, just as a precaution as shifting under constant load in sand all the time would put extreme stress on the gearbox especially if the clutch is not adjusted right.

Also, I would recommend changing your transoil after every ride being anywhere near water. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Thanks Geoff! Hey you gotta come over West and try out the dunes at Lancelin!
The damage has been on 2 bikes I've ridden 426,250
At least I got no worries stripping it down for the repair!
