 Reed Valve? I just bought a 1999 YZ 250 and whenever the bike runs I can hear a constant "Ticking" noise. I saw a video on youtube where a guy had a similar noise and people were telling him that it was the reed valve. Does this sound right? From what I can tell the guy that owned it before me didnt take very good care of it and was more interested in the appearance of it than the maintenance. Also, I need to bleed the brakes and went to remove the front reservoir cap and both screws are stripped! He must have tried to do it and stripped them and gave up. Should I drill into the screws and remove them or does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks for any help!  |

| Re: Reed Valve? I did the same thing a while back. Search for Front brake fluid. Click on the thread by me. |
