Default Racing Baja 1000 On a yz250?

Hey everyone me and my friends want to complete a item off our bucket list... Baja 1000. When Does it start? What kind of training do I need to do? What all do I need to have on my dirtbike? How Much does it cost? If someone could also tell me of some really good baja like terrain to practice on in Georgia. Thanks a lot! -Jackson

There is a lot of different terrains in Baja. I am not sure you can find them all in Georgia. Practice riding anywhere dusty, anywhere you can open it up all the way in top gear and then drop it down fast and get it back to top speed. You are going to want to gear as high as possible. Some sections are sandy, some is pavement, really a mix of everything. PRACTICE GOING FAST, AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. good luck

Check out the documentary, Dust to Glory. Then ride your bike for 12 hrs straight tomorrow, only stopping for bananas, water and fuel.
