Question Pro Circuit Or FMF for 2000 YZ125

Hey
I know you probably always get asked these questions but I just wanted to know how the the FMF and Pro Circuit silencers effect my bike. Like which gives better response and bottom, a PC R304 Shorty or FMF Shorty? Which gives more broad powerband, PC R304 Factory Sound or FMF Powercore2. And is there much difference in sound from stock and between these silencers? At the moment it has a stock pipe and a shortened silencer off 1998 YZ. Stock jetting as well. If anyone has experience with any of these could you please reply! Thanx in Advance,

Geoff

First I would like to welcome you to ATM!!

Now for your question, I would think that either FMF or Pro Circuit would fill your needs just fine. I have never owned a PC shorty but I have had a few FMF's on my previous rides and I couldn't have been happier. They achieve exactly what they claim, they offer more grunt, no question about that.

Either way PC or FMF you will be happy if that is what you are looking for.

I have a 99 YZ125 that both my son and I ride. I have the FMF fatty and FMF shorty silencer and they work great. Increase in overall power and needed overrev.

most Pro Circuit silencers will not work on a stock pipe,, but the FMF will.

I put an FMF on my son's old YZ85 with the stock pipe and it made a noticable difference.

I have a procircuit pipe and silencer on my Husky, runs strong, but bought it used and never rode it with stock pipe so can't compare.
