I see you have been hit by that band of internationally known power valve thieves. Try taking the linkage cover off (it is on the righthand side of the cylinder) and see if they took the linkage too. You may want to lift the front cover and look for the shaft and springs that control the valves' movement. They may have gotten those too. If so you are going to be spending a lot of money.

the 01 cylinder on mine will let you do about anything with the valves and linkage with the cylinder on from what I can tell. It is easier though to have it on a bench. How was it running?

the bike was running good pinned but when i acelerated it really sucked as it would sorta bog and i knew it wasdnt the jetting so i took offf my pipe and sure enough one of the powervalves were limp. so the only way to reattach it is to remove the cylender because the powervalve cover is like a 1/2 inch from the frame soo off comes the cylender. do i have to replace the base gasket or will it be fine i think im gunna do it anyways but im just wondering?
