Default Power Band is not kicking in???

I have a 00 YZ250 that I just put in a new top end. Now, its not hitting the band. I thought I put the Power Valve in wrong but it's right. I put in a new plug, and now I'm stumped. Any ideas?

I had the same issue when I did a top-end on a 95' YZ250. I made a mistake when putting the power valve linkage back together. Go back through it and I suspect you will find one of the parts in wrong.

I suspect the ring would have hooked a port well before he ever got to hit the powerband.
