I assume since you tapped the case to a larger size you did puchase a new bolt with a head flange that was the equivelent of the oem bolt. The flange ensures a sealing surface between the case and bolt head. This is imperative to ensure your best chances of a drip free seal. You may have created an irregularity in the mating area of the case from your retapping procedure. Check the deck of the case surface. If you determine a variance in the surface you may be able to clean it up or you could use an appropriate sized cush washer (similar to a washer on your sparkplug) to provide a sealing surface. You have purchased a bike that requires a great amount of maintenance. I wish you well with your limited mechanical ability. If anything the bike will provide a proving ground for you mechanical skills. Can't wait to hear from you with a siezed crank! PS>>>You don't use a rubber o- ring on this bolt ever! unless you want the bolt to fall out in the woods while your riding it...

lmao, this kid has no idea whaaat the heck hes talkin about, the stock yz250 plug nuts comes with a rubber washer (o-ring). by the way, i have stopped the leaky leaky.

the plug nut wont fall out in the woods because i ride on a track and practice for races... another thing, what would make the nut fall out by just being about 1mm out a little farther. like its made to do. just to think about
: I am probly more mechanicly inclined then you by far. dont even argue, you have no idea. if my crank seized i would pay 100$ for a new one and put it in myself... intelligence is a factor mr 5 posts
