its hard to explain....obviously the clutch bites when the engine is cold becasue your bike stalls. but as the engine warms up the oil warms up and lubricates the clutch so it slips a little. sorry if you dont understand....i never really had to explain it before. if anyone else has and easier understandable explanation, please put it here......

You're my hero, too.

My guess with the clutch, is that the oil heats up, which thins out the oil, letting it flow more easily between the plates. With this added lubrication, it lets the plates slip, and gives your clutch a different response.

the bike shouldn't try to move forward with the clutch in and in gear. have you tried to adjust it up at the lever, if your out of room there it may be time for a new one. A bike i was riding last week was doing that and i adjusted the cable at the clutch lever and it fixed the problem, used up all the adjustment so the clutch is ready to be changed. just a thought

i just ordered an EBC clutch kit, after reading this,i was thinking about doing it anyway
