iT425G Exhaust/Barrel joint blow by

Hello chaps, my iT425G is making a mess of my lovely new plastic mudguards, the old girl is spitting oil and smoke from the exhaust/barrel area, is it possible to seal this joint? Any help would be much appreciated.

wrap it with exhaust tape. Be better if you could fix it right, but the heat tape will do the job. Looks ugly, but it works.

Thank you Mr Freak, I think we call it exhaust bandage here in England, I will send my Butler down to the motor accessories shop to fetch some.
