Default i'm lost in the carb

I have a 2000 yz125 and I can't find the air screw on the carb. Which side of the bike is it on? I think it is the left side. Is it that screw with the lock nut on it? I wasn't sure and I didn't want to mess with anything without knowing for sure what I was screwing with. Also, where is the pilot and main jet? I am going to try to re-jet my bike, and have no idea what I am doing.

My carb doesn't look like that. The only screw I see is closer to the top by the slide. And what does it mean "pilot jet (located in recess)" I found it a lot easier on my kx100, it was on the other side of the carb.

That's funny because when I pulled up the specifications on a 2000 YZ125 it lists that it has a 36mm Mikuni TMX. What is pictured is a 38mm TMX, same thing just 2mm smaller in bore diameter.

That is the idle adjustment screw.

The pilot jet is located in that hole that is picture and highlighted in yellow (like the text, I tryed to use the color as a visual cue for those that have a hard time catching on). Not sure what "the other side" is, but the pilot jet is internal, you have to remove the float bowl to see it. Maybe you should get rid of the YZ and go back to the KX?

Faded is right (as always).

It's where he showed in the diagram, except it is very hard to see if not impossible!
You have to know where to look on this bike or less you'll miss it.

This is because where the airboots connects to carb, it kinda blocks of light and takes up space over where the screw is.

If you still can't find it I can get a pic up later of exactly where it is..

Do I have to take it out of the air boot to see it?

I didn't mean the airboot covers it, I just meant that it's RIGHT beside it and it quiet hard to find if you haven't found it before.

You may need a torch.

Uh, "torch" means "flashlight" in the USA.

I just wanted to make sure he didn't use an acutal torch, i.e. thing on fire, near the carb. :
