Your pictures are a little close zoom out a little and put it on some white paper to take that rust colored glare out of there. What is your problem i didnt understand the question. IF you have an .080 over cylinder you are .080 over what has been changed? Did you get it bored and replated or is this just the way it was when removed?

I'd send the cylinder along with the piston and rings to Mr. Gorr. I'm sure he could have it all tuned up in no time.

My friend convinced my dad to one story, no plating get a brand new cylinder and everything with piston kit n gasket kit. he said plating would only be temporary... I am not buying this stuff thats why im tryin to get many opinions and find the cheapest and best way out.

Its plated but worn very thin. As for plating only being temporary tell him it all is, be cheaper to get your old cylinder replated. And a stock one will be slow, unless you have it bored and plated. The rust color is from the carpet reflecting in the bore.

Freaking crap how i'd get a old thread
