80 bucks for a piece of foam and a seat cover!!!??? They have to be out of thier minds! I spent 20 bucks for an electric knife making Tracys.

Your best bet would be to get some "softer" foam. If you go too soft you could be back at square one. Try taking your seat to an upholstery shop and show them your seat. They should be able to help you out. Good Luck

So Yamaha is using the same foam as KTM now.. Ouch..

It's like they just don't think,, mags complained about soft seats and now everyone over corrects and puts rocks on the bike. I know Enduro Engineering makes seats for KTMs but they are expensive.. I saw an article on a KTM forum where one guy took his seat apart and used a 2 inch hole saw and cut 5 or 6 holes in the bottom of his KTM seat foam, going about halfway through then put the seat back together. I'm thinking about trying this.. Basically it's free.

i actually have gotten used to the seat. i guess it was just the first few rides to get used to it.
