Good Deal Or Not?

Not sure Im allowed to do this, but my local dealer where I bought my 2003 YZ250 new has another one just like mine, brand new. Its been sitting there a long time, cant believe no one bought it yet. Its a 2003 YZ250. When I bought mine, it was the end of January of 2004. The sticker price was $5899 and I got it for $4999. This other one they have is priced at $4299. Its brand spanking new. Is that a good deal? Im very surprised no one has bought it all this time and its like 2-3 years old now, the 02-03-04 models were very good bikes. Anyway, just wanted to pass this info on. Sorry if Im not allowed to post info about pricing at a local dealer, just thought it was a good deal and passing on the info. I am in no way affiliated with them, I just bought my bike there and got treated very well. Sorry in advance if this isnt allowed. Mike

Yeah! If you just trade your bike in you can pick up that brand spankin new one and still have money left over for mods and extras.

Cool Re: Good Deal Or Not?

Nah, I dont want another one, mine is still like brand new! IF I was going to get a new one, which Im not, it would be an 05 or 06, not another 03. Just wanted to get the word out there to fellow ATM guys. Im in northern NJ if anyone is wondering where this dealership is. Oh, I saw something else there that I thought was an AWESOME deal. 2005 CRF50s, brand new, for $850. They have a TON of them and wanna blow them out. $850 for a brand new CRF50, man that is so tempting, but what would I do with it?? Im 28 years old and have no kids... Mike

i say at that price get the 50 and put the bbr mods on it for the price of a regular new one. it would pull you around, maybe not very fast but they are fun to put around on. they can take jumps for a little while but since the pegs are mounted to the cases eventually the whole morot will drop out

I wouldn't say it is a great deal but it's about what i would expect from any dealer.
