Gasket Clarification Please

hi hi,

so i FINALLY got my manual. took a while cause i only paid half price for it, but now summer classes have started so i won't have time until augustish to get the bike running again, which is a shame because we had day light here until 9pm-ish!!, but i digress...

i have been reading the manual and trying to understand what i've read in some posts and replies to my earlier posts. it looks like the problem i had was super easy to fix, but i'm not sure if i'm reading everything right. the fellow i picked up the bike from said the only thing keeping it from running was a base gasket. i was hoping someone could clarify which one it is in this picture.



since people are using the term "base," i would assume it's the bottom one, but am hoping not, cause the top is much easier to get to.

thanks as usual folks. i love this forum. i can't wait till i have a running bike and learn enough to enhance it so i can get the most out of this community =P

# 14 would be base. # 11 would be the head gasket.
