Default fitting pro taper on my bike

Stupid, i bought a pro taper bar and a set of clamps..

But i forgot that my bike has no removable clamps so do i need to replace the complete upper triple clamp?

I am not sure about the Yamahas, as I ride a Honda .... but I would think that you would need to replace the whole thing.

Yep, Yamis have a rigid one piece upper triple clamp so you have to buy a new upper clamp to run the oversize bars. I think Applied makes a good cheap one for about $165, but I would buy the RG3 unit for just under $300 if it was need on my bike.

You can buy spacers/adapters that raise the bars up about one inch, but allows you to keep your stock clamp.

Yep, this is the best way to go unless you want new clamps.
