Default Fair asking price for a '94 YZ250

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.

I should have listened to good advice and not tried to learn how to ride motorcycles on a YZ 250. I'm schedualed to get my pins put in my left leg on Thursday.

I'm going to sell my Yamaha and hopefully get something a little tamer down the road. I know the complete history of this bike since I bought it from family and it has only been ridden 5 times. Except for some cosmetic damage (from my wreck) it is in like new condition. What would be a fair asking price for this bike.

I live in the panhandle of Texas in case anyone is interested.

Thanks CRazy. $1400 was about what I was thinking. It would help meet my deductable for my surgery.

My Step-Father-In-Law got the bike new as a part of one of his "deals". He is a rancher and is always trading for tractors, pickups or something. It sat in a storage building until one of his friends saw it and wanted to ride it 3 years ago. They aired up the tires, put some gass in it and it started right up.

I got the bike last fall, changed all the fluids and put in a new air filter (the original filter was by then as fragile as a cobweb, but still clean). The bike started for me on the third kick. It would be a great bike for somebody.
