clutch fragments... where did they go?

one of the friction plates in my 04 yz250 clutch blew up. a couple inches of the plate and 4 of the tabs are missing! Is there a screen seperating the clutch oil from the gears or do i have to take the whole thing apart?!

If you haven't heard there's a clutch fragments ferry. He's alot like the tooth ferry and if you take your pillow out and sleep with your head over your bike he'll come take all those fragments away.

The gears under the right side cover will grind up the bits of plate. Split the cases, there will be small particles in there that you will never get out otherwise.
