Default Chad Reed's New Bike

Alledgedly the Yamaha suits are getting extremely nervous about Reed's chances of defending his title against Carmichael. Accordingly, Yamaha is going back to its roots ("eye of the tiger" I guess), and has released next year's YZ prototype to Chad to be used after A3. Carmichael is definitely going to have his hands full. Check it out.

I have the next year's model (1975) in my garage. It is my next next restoration project Same basic engine, but mine is the first year monoshock frame. Very limited production.

John is right about that 74 bike. The 74 & 75 YZs were semi-works bikes when it came to engine tricks.

He needs to ride the Aluminum framed BBR bike. I bet he would get top 5 on that thing.
